Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

It is snowing in St. Louis today!
My customer wanted decorated sugar cookies for a post Christmas luncheon and I was inspired to create these beautiful snowflake sugar cookies.  I thought they would be a great change from all of the Christmas cookies that we all just inhaled.
I am so glad that the weather accommodated my theme.

Sports Birthday

My stepdad is a big sports fan.  My mom requested that I design a decorated sugar cookie assortment that included all of his favorite sports for his 65th birthday.
I designed footballs, Mizzou basketball jerseys and Cardinals baseball caps to represent his favorite teams.  I also added some cupcakes to tie the colors together.

Go team!  Happy 65th Birthday!

Let's Go Cards!

St. Louis is a baseball town!  We love our baseball Cardinals.  They are the reigning champions and have made the National League Championship Series.  My mother-in-law ordered these decorated sugar cookies to share with her fellow work mates to help cheer the Cardinals on to victory.

Aren't these fun?!  My customer's son is turning 8 and he loves legos, so she asked me to make him some lego decorated sugar cookies.  I found these great tutorials from Sweet Sugar Belle on making the bricks and the lego man head.
These cookies are so simple to make and, yet, look amazing!

My husband's Grandpa is turning 90!
My mother-in-law asked me to design cupcake shaped decorated sugar cookies to help him celebrate with all of his friends.  I was inspired by these from Glorious Treats.
These fluffy cupcakes can be designed three ways:  plain, cherry on top or birthday candle.
