Let's Get Cookin'; A Kitchen Themed Bridal Shower

My customer asked me to create kitchen themed decorated sugar cookies for a bridal shower she was helping to plan.  The shower was a sweet family event where the bride received cherished family recipes and ingredients and tools to stock her new kitchen.

The bride had chosen the classic and sophisticated color scheme
of red and black as the theme for her wedding.

My customer sent me this "A A" monogram that was created especially for
the bride and groom to be used on all of their wedding stationary.
I simplified the design to enable it to fit on a 2" circle cookie.

This apron was a special shower gift for the bride.
I recreated the apron design on this 3 1/2" square cookie.

To further the kitchen theme, I designed this kitchen utensil cookie
inspired by The Happy Caker.

The cookies were packaged up as party favors and each guest received a gift bag
with a square kitchen cookie and a small monogram cookie.

Congratulations Abbie and Aaron!

Rock Around the Clock!

These 1950's cookies are so fun!

My customer was planning a 1950's party for her son's 10th birthday.  She sent me this photo of one of the decorations that she was using and asked me if I could design some decorated sugar cookies for the party.

I designed this ice cream soda cookie, which I cut by hand.  My customer loved this idea because the kids were having ice cream sodas at the party and taking home their glass as a favor.

I used a simple circle cutter to create this record cookie.

Then I created a personalized square cookie with a black and white checkerboard background to tie the whole 1950's birthday theme together.

Happy 10th Birthday, Caed!

Vegas Baby!

What happens in Vegas....

My customer wanted Las Vegas themed decorated sugar cookies to celebrate her friend's 30th birthday.  She was planning a girls' trip to Las Vegas and thought these cookies would be the perfect way to kick off the birthday celebration.

She definitely wanted a cookie shaped like the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

I suggested that we add some poker chip cookies.
Then, to tie in the 30th birthday theme, I designed this "wild" zebra print cookie.

Have fun ladies!
