A frequent cookie customer of mine wanted to serve cupcakes at her son's birthday party.
Some of the party guests had nut allergies and she was having a hard time finding
a bakery that could accommodate her needs.  While I am a home bakery and there are nuts in my kitchen, my cookies and cupcakes are baked and decorated with nut free ingredients
and I take the greatest care to avoid any cross contamination.

So, we decided on a dozen each of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.
I made a vanilla butter cream icing in the birthday boy's favorite colors, blue and orange.
I sprinkled a little sanding sugar on top to make them sparkle.

Yum, yum, I saved a few extras for myself and they were delicious!
